Adventure Playground, located on a hill near Central Park's West 67th Street entrance, is one of the Park's most unique and popular playgrounds. Ancient Playground. Ancient playground is located on 85th Street right off Fifth Avenue, just north of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, whose collection of Egyptian Art inspired the playground's climbing pyramids, obelisk, and sundial. In the main play area, pyramid-shaped climbers with slides and tunnels are linked by concrete bridges.
